Buyers:
All our Mini/Toy Aussie pups are
Born in our home and well socialized from birth to
be the great farm and family dogs they were ment to be.
Our pups are usually going out
the doggie door by the time they are 5 weeks old and
then have the run of our large

Our pups are sold fully up to

Dear Michelle and Richard,I wanted to email you and let you know that we are heading to Houston TX for the Mini Aussie Nationals this year from Oct 22nd when we leave to Oct 31st when we get home. I am driving and that may be something in its own...lol It will take 19-20 hours to get there.I also wanted to update you on Neko. Neko has received his MASCA V3 Versatility title. He is the first dog to get the MASCA V1, V2, and now V3.We have went on and Neko got his UKC CD which gives him the title of UCD for Obedience. Also we have been busy in Rally Obedience and Neko LOVES it! He and Hula both got their APDT RL1 the very first three legs and Neko was the only one with a PERFECT SCORE in one of his legs....whoooohoooo.....and now have a leg in RL2 already. So we will finish this also. RL3 is as high as you go in levels then you accumulate levels for a special title. We have recently been doing Herding and NAMASCUSA has a new Herding Program and we have been busy learning. I had a Herding Clinic here at my home this late summer with Joyce Burnham from IL and she is awesome and so is her dog Ben. She has taught me a lot and so we decided to head out and try herding and so far Neko got his mHIC instinct title a few years ago. We have went on to try the NAMSCUSA mHCC and you need two legs to to get that mHCC title and Neko did get that title. We are now working on the Started dog title of mHSD and you need two legs to get that also a Course A and a Cource B. Neko completed the Course A but we didn't get the Course B so we are trying for that at the Nationals and it is HARD. I think this is one of the hardest things I have done is Trialing in Herding. Hre is a picture of Neko sending the sheep into a Y chute were he got his Course A win towards his mHSD.Neko at the Herding Clinic where we were learningWe are having fun though and wanted you to know we are still busy with the venues. We are trying for MASCA and NAMASCUSA MVA this year and Aussie Olympics. My red tri male out of Neko is in the Top 10 for MASCA so far for 2007.Neko has been working on his Agility and HErding and Obedience so we have not done much conformation this year.

Dear Michelle and Richard,
Just wanted to let you know how the MASCA Nationals
went. There were over one hundred dogs listed.
Neko placed every class we entered into. He received a 4th place
in 6-9 mo. Male out of 12 dogs
entered the first class Saturday morning, then went on to get a
2nd place in the 6-9 mo.
Male in the Saturday afternoon class out of 10 dogs entered.
THEN........for
the Big show Sunday
the National Show he placed 2nd again in the 6-9 mo.
Male out of 18 dogs entered.
The Judge that placed him second was Joseph
Hartnagle of Las Rocossa.
He came from Colorado to judge the MASCA
Nationals
in 2004.
After the show I asked him what he
thought
of Neko's ears the way
they set and he said that Neko had ears that
are just like the OLD foundation type Aussie used to be
and he told me do NOT do anything to
them because the Aussie had changed so much over time
the we have almost lost that old structure.
He said Neko's body also was shaped like the
foundation style Aussies (thick with lots of bone) and he
recommended
that when Neko gets older
to breed him so that he passes his traits down because this
Gentleman said if I keep going with Neko
he will place high!!! He told me not to listen when people
say things about his ears (which some did
and other loved his ears!) because the ears are the way that the
Aussie ears should still be. He said Neko's
ears are no way out of the standard! The Judges name was Mr.
Joseph Hartnagle. Have you heard
of him? The other judges must have felt the same way because Neko
placed in the top 4 in every
class we entered! WOW...and YaHoo. This was only the 3rd show we
have entered and have placed
every show we have went to!!
Neko was CERF tested and he received a great
reading and he passed with flying colors! I will get
his CERF number soon. I am sending you a picture of a Judge
and I and Neko that I had taken there
at the show. The Judges name in the picture is Ms. Joan Fox.
I will keep you updated on anything that we get
from here on. WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!
Torre and Neko
Michelle and Richard,
Today was one of the best
days we have had in the show ring! Finally after 2 MASCA and 7 UKC
shows
9 in all total, Neko has finished his Championship.
He finished UKC Champion at the age of 11 months old. I am very happy and proud to own a Miniature Aussie from Smokey Valley kennels.
Thank you Michelle and Richard for
letting Neko fill my dream of having a Champion Show dog!
Sincerely Yours Torre Waller and UKC/RH
